"I had an interview with Appleโs branch in China yesterday morning. However, I never imagined I would actually be speaking with an HR employee from Appleโit felt like a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity. I didnโt perform as well as I had hoped during the interview because I hadnโt prepared thoroughly for the questions asked. The HR recruiter was very nice and politely informed me that I had applied for a position that didnโt match my experience. I was so embarrassed, I wanted to dig a hole and hide in it, haha. After the interview concluded, I resolved to practice English speaking more diligently for official interviews.
Later, I shared my experience with Mike, explaining it was a phone interview and that I hadnโt performed well, which likely cost me the opportunity. Mike encouraged me with these words: โIt's just the rehearsal for the rehearsal.โ I was so moved by his support that I asked him to help simulate an English interview, giving me plenty of chances to practice for the next one.
I shared photos from my trip to Australia with Mike. During the sharing process, he taught me the correct use of grammar and the correct pronunciation. It's a great class experience.
