Hello! My name is Sarah. Some of my friends call me Sassa or Rara. Some also calls me sunset because I really love watching the sunset. I am 22 years old, born and raised in the Philippines. I am a licensed professional teacher and I've been teaching English for 2 years already. I love teaching so much. I started teaching kids when I was still in 6th grade. I taught younger kids in our church. Every summer, me with my family or friends go to different islands for a teaching mission. We teach kids there especially those who don't know how to read, write and count. My hobbies are photography and video editing, in fact I am also a freelance event organizer and photographer. I also love playing musical instruments, singing, and dancing especially when I am alone 🤣. I am also into reading and writing~ I have my personal blog ( www.sunset1997.wordpress.com ). I really love cats and have 2 named peld and dot. I also love swimming, hiking, and traveling. Me and my family always go for a roadtrip. As a teacher, I believe that teaching is not easy but it is always worth it. I always engage my students in my class and gives them the opportunity to do so. My teaching style depends on the need of my student because I believe that every person has its own way and pace of learning. I deal with my students patiently and as flexible as I can. I always do my best to appreciate every little improvements that I see in them. Most of all, I want my students to feel that learning a new language may be hard but it is not suppose to be a torture. I want them to learn in a classroom where mistakes is okay as long as you try to correct it. I want them to love the language itself that learning it becomes a passion and not just like a responsibility. I want my students to see me not just a teacher but also a mentor, a motivator, and a friend.
