My strong leadership skills have empowered me to become the Vice School Principal of an international school, where I currently work full-time. Here are some examples of courses I am offering: ✍ English Conversation Classes for Specific Purposes ✍ 1) English for travel 🧳 🗺️ Many non-English speakers find travelling in English-speaking countries stressful, especially if they travel outside of a tour. In this course we will practice English skills required for ordering meals, making reservations, asking for directions and dealing with problems while traveling. 2) English in the workplace 👔👩‍💻 The main language used in multi-national companies or even in smaller companies spanning two countries, is often English. This conversation course will help you become more comfortable speaking English in the workplace. We will practice skills needed in discussing and planning projects, presenting information and in using workplace specific vocabulary. 3) English for further study 📚🗣️ In many countries, young EFL students must learn English in school, with a textbook. Many classrooms focus on reading, listening, and writing. Unfortunately, in a class of 30+ students, you might not have enough time for meaningful speaking activities. This course will give you the opportunity to practice your speaking skills, needed for you to pass your next speaking exams. 4) English as an opportunity to socialize 👯🧑🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏻 You might need to use language courses with an emphasis on interaction as an excellent excuse to get out of the house, meet people, and keep your mind sharp. This course will give you the platform to learn English for social interaction to help you become more confident when speaking to others in English. ✍ IELTS and TOEFL Test Preparation ✍ IELTS and TOEFL preparation course will lead you to success on the TOEFL and IELTS test. 💯 We will practice instructions in the four language skill areas of the TOEFL and IELTS test: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. The following specific skills will also be covered: • Instruction in study skills such as note taking, scanning, and paraphrasing. • Practice in essay writing and understanding academic reading. • Speaking exercises to improve fluency and confidence. ✍ General English ✍ This course focuses on your confidence and fluency in spoken English while developing your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. It is designed to suit students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. My aim for this course is to improve all aspects of your English, including grammar, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and importantly to build confidence. 🎧👩‍🏫🗣️📖 ✍ English for Critical Thinking ✍ Making decisions is something we go through since childhood – from choosing which games to play or books to read to deciding on the best time to buy a house, we all must face issues, analyze and make decisions. Critical thinking skills are perhaps the most fundamental skills involved in making judgments and solving problems. You use them every day, and you can continue improving them. This course is mainly designed for intermediate to advanced students looking to apply their English skills in a more cognitive level through evaluation, analysis and problem-solving. 🤔💭 I adapt my teaching style according to each students' ability. However, one thing remains constant. It is the application of student-centered approach. You are the "star" of my class.
